Yesterday members of the club ran a fundraising BBQ at IGA in Wandong. Members of the Wandong community very much welcomed a snag in bread on their way to the shops, so much so that we completely ran out of sausages! Special thanks to IGA Wandong owner Sam (also a Lions member) for allowing us to setup out the front of his store and for supplying us with amazingly delicious sausages!
It was a great opportunity to both raise funds and to have a chat with locals to raise awareness around some of the community projects we’re working on.
